Lewis, Yockey & Brown Inc . started
working in the environmental services field in 1990. We initially began building on our experience by focusing on wastewater treatment and other traditional environmental engineering projects. As local, state and federal environmental regulations evolved, our servicse naturally expanded to include site-related environmental consulting - where we assist clients in meeting the latest federal and state-mandated compliance objectives.
Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
LYB offers comprehensive services, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in compliance with the All Appropriate Inquiries standard. All project tasks that our team undertakes are closely coordinated with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency technical review personnel within the applicable regulatory program.
Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans
The Phase II regulations under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program were issued in 1999. And in 2003, construction sites that disturb more than one acre were also required to be in compliant with these regulations. Since that time, LYB has provided expert assistance to owners and contractors in developing the required Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, site management and permit maintenance.
Our team of licensed professionals is capable of providing the necessary inspection and reporting under the program. As storm water management and erosion control practices continue to evolve and grow, LYB is prepared to provide the expert guidance needed for both water quantity and water quality management.
